Assessment DescriptionIn conjunction with the lead instructor, conducted class room response systems using Iclickers at the end of the semester about medication administration safety in the clinical setting. Also conducted paper survey at the end of the first section of the course about safety. In addition, students' performance in the clinical setting were evaluated based on feedback in from hospital preceptors using a form that reflect the course SLOs

Data SummaryWith regards to clinical performance assessed based on the students' self evaluation and feedback from both the preceptor and the faculty of records using a standardized evaluation form, all the students passed the clinical portion of Nursing 56. Also , as a department, we keep a close eye on the NCLEX pass rates for our students and are routinely reported in our monthly faculty meetings.
Analysis SummaryAgain, with regards to clinical performance, our pass rate for this semester was 100 %. However, by the end of next Spring semester 2014 , we are planning to review our clinical evaluation form so that it incorporates and reflects components of the QSEN criteria.
